Yaadien Cast
: Jackie Shroff, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor. Not up to expectation, this is an average film. It has failed to cheer the audience despite a huge budget and heavy expenditure on advertisement. The screen play is a mess. It revolves around Raj Singh Puri (Jackie Shroff) who is overly protective about her three daughters. Rati Agnihotri, deased wife of Raj Singh Puri is a symbol of Yadeein. She is always in mind of Raj and he always remember her and have fond memories. Her last words to Raj was to be friendly with thier daughters and so he tries his best to be a best friends of her daughters. He successfully marries her elder daughter with a good person, while her middle daughter, with her own will, gets married into a rich but bad family. And she comes back to her father's house and decides to send divorce papers to her husband. But every thing goes well later on, with her husband getting a handsome job in Dubai with the grace of Raj's influence. Isha (kareena) being the youngest daughter of Raj, after initial fiddler, falls in love with her childhood friend Ronit (Hrithik Roshan) who is a son of a business tycoon. Whrereas Isha's dad (Raj Singh Puri) runs a chain of hotel and is a best friend of Ronit's father. Call it as Lord Krishna and Sudama friendship. Indifferent to family millions, Ronit is happier heading a dot com which specialises in matrimonials. Also Raj had a great influence on Ronit and they were best friends who shared their happiness and sorrow. Trouble brews when J. K. Malhotra (Amrish Puri), Ronits uncle, thunders that Ronit will marry the daughter of another super rich tycoon. This will lead to merger of two big companies and make their shares up in top 10 scrips. Having respect to Raj, Isha tries to forgive her love and get along with Ronit as a friend only but Ronit never gives it up. He makes realize his family members that Love is above all things. Money can do any thing but cant buy love. Ronit's beau (Kiran Rahtore) also realizes the same in the end and she sacrifices her love Ronit. Its a triangular love climax. The movie ends with Ronit's family accepting Isha and begging to Raj to forgive them. Overall the movie has not made up to the expectation's of the audience. Audience were looking forward for a mega hit movie in Yaadein mainly due to trio combination of Hrithik, Kareen and producer, director, writer, editor - Subash Ghai.
